Nurseries News Round-Up – Week 80

Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

SLEIGH IT AGAIN!

Golden Apples, Haverhill

We had a very special visitor to our flagship nursery this week – the one and only Santa Claus!

Remember children – he sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. He knows if you’ve been bad or good – so be good for goodness’ sake!

FROSTY FUN!

Halesworth Day Nursery, Halesworth

The children made their own Santa hats and explored different animals that live in much cooler countries.

Some of the children have been visiting the dentist recently so we explored dentist role play.

The Sloth Room made marks in the snow and built their own train track.

CRAFT WORK!

The Beacon, Rendlesham

At the Beacon, we hosted a Christmas Craft event for all our wonderful children and families to enjoy.

It was a great success and lots of fun was had by all. Thank you to everyone that attended!

YUM IN MY TUM!

The Appletree, Attleborough

The children enjoyed a yummy roast turkey Christmas dinner followed by Viennetta ice cream.

They then got stuck into some Sonic Cosmic Yoga, a Christmas Yoga Dance Party and party games including musical statues and bumps.

Huge thanks to our fabulous chef Andy for making our lovely lunch!

STAR BAKERS!

The Ark, Watton

Our nursery chef is going to be supporting our little ones at the Ark Nursery in becoming ‘little chefs’.

The Toddler Room were the first one to engage in the baking session and had lots of fun learning how to mix the ingredients, roll out the mixture and cut out the shapes for the biscuits.

Good baking, Toddlers!

MAKING FRIENDS!

The Cornerstone, Martlesham

Thank you to all our lovely parents who came to our Christmas craft morning.

It was so lovely to meet and chat with you all!

CHRISTMAS CRACKERS!

Head Start, Ramsey

The children and staff all joined together to share our delicious Christmas lunch.

We even had a visit from Father Christmas

The children enjoyed lots of party games such as Musical Statues and Pass the Parcel.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all our lovely cards and gifts!

RICE ONE!

Woodbridge Day Nursery, Woodbridge

Christmas sensory rice play for our Toddlers and Pre-School children.

The all had so much fun engaging in a nice fine-motor skills activity.
