Nurseries News Round-Up – Week 23

Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

GREEN-FINGERED GO GETTERS!

The Anchor, Huntingdon

We've had the best summer holidays at the Anchor.

It's been such fun having the holiday club children in – and the younger children have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them.

One of our projects was to make this amazing gnome/fairy garden – we can’t believe how pretty it looks outside the front door.

The children made and painted their own clay figure, then designed and planted it. Fabulous team work!

PATTERN PLAY!

Bluebell, Eltisley

The kids took part in some fab painting play in the preschool room, using different objects to create fun texture marks and then putting paper on it to print the pattern.

A great non-messy (well, almost…) art activity!

LOVED MORE THAN YOU KNOW!

Golden Apples, Haverhill

We said goodbye to our pre-schoolers, with whom we’ve had endless amounts of hugs and shared lots of happy memories this week.

We are very sad to see you go, but we know that you'll all have the best time at school!

Please remember:

You are braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

smarter than you think,

and loved more than you know

To our pre-school parents, it has been an absolute pleasure to care for and teach your children and we thank you all for your very thoughtful cards and gifts!

From the Golden Apples Team (but especially Coral and Cassey)

GOOD TIMES!

Head Start, Ramsey

So now that we are at the end of the nursery year, we have waved goodbye to our school leavers.

Each and every one of them is ready to begin their new journey and we are so excited to see how well they will get on.

All the very best from the team at Headtstart.

We are really looking forward to welcoming back all of our term-time-only children and introducing our new starters. We have missed you all!

Check out what we have been up to over the summer break in the pics above!
