WORLD SPOOK DAY!
The Anchor, Huntingdon
We celebrated World Book Day at The Anchor in style! The children looked amazing dressed up as characters from their favourite books.
We also welcomed our new baby room staff member Emma to the nursery – she looked fantastic dressed as The Rainbow Fish!
BOOKS AND LEEKS!
Head Start, Ramsey
We all had such a lovely time on World Book Day – all the children looked amazing!
They thoroughly enjoyed the props and books set up around the rooms, creating small world play areas. The children also brought in books from home which they shared with the group.
We also talked about St David’s Day and the children took part in a small group activity, preparing leeks for dinner, making flags with dragons on (which they coloured in very well!) and decorating a lovely daffodil.
MUM’S THE WORD – WELL, THAT AND DISCO!

LET’S DIS-GO!
Please join us for our fancy dress Comic Relief disco on 18 March between 2-4pm. All proceedings raised will go to Comic Relief. We cannot wait to welcome you all and see you in your chosen outfits!
SIX LINES OF FUN!
The Appletree, Attleborough
Wow – six mysterious lines appeared in Bramley Room recently!
The children asked what the lines were for and Nicole replied, ‘I’m not sure, what do you think you can do with the lines?’
The children then independently used the lines as car lanes, and to walk, tiptoe, jump and skip between them to see how far they could leap.
The children asked, ‘What else can we do?’ Nicole repeated the question back and they said, ‘Monkey jumps, skeleton jumps, play trains, star jumps.’s
This activity is a great way to build up the children’s imagination. The children also lined up for their turn without any adult input – well done, Bramley Room!

MOTORING ALONG!
The Ark, Watton
Pre-School room worked on their fine motor skills through letter formation in shaving foam and tracing patterns.
This is going to support the children by developing their pre-writing skills and extending their concentration.
A WORLD OF FUN!
The Cornerstone, Martlesham
The Barn Owls had a lovely surprise recently – with THREE Elsas, Postman Pat, the Gruffalo, Paddington Bear and Fireman Sam visiting the nursery for World Book Day.
The Ducklings enjoyed the Dear Zoo story in their wonderful dressing up costumes. Great job, everyone!
