Nurseries News Round-Up – Week 12

Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

COP A LOAD OF THIS!

The Beacon, Rendlesham

The kids had a very special visit from a lovely police officer as part of their ‘People Who Help Us’ topic. She spoke with the children about how to keep themselves and other people safe and took them to see her police car – they all loved the flashing lights!

NURSERY PRACTITIONER WANTED!

Golden Apples, Haverhill

Our Haverhill team is expanding! The nursery is rapidly growing and so we’re very excited to begin our search for a Nursery Practitioner qualified to Level 3 or above in Childcare to join our wonderful team. Please only apply if you have a Level 3 or above in childcare. To contact us, please call 01440 702151 or email info@goldenapples.co.uk.

BRUSHING UP!

Bluebell, Eltisley

The children brushed up on their dental health, learning toothbrushing techniques and exploring books on dental hygiene.

WONDERFUL WEEK!

The Appletree, Attleborough

Russets had another fun-filled week – with lots of interest in their growing tadpoles, fun outside in the sun, dinosaur play, princess dress-up and train play. During circle time, the kids have been learning to count in single numbers, practise the days of the week and learned all about the seasons.

NURSERY PRACTITIONER WANTED!

The Appletree are looking for an experienced Level 3 (or above) Practitioner to lead their Under 2s room. This person would ideally have experience of leading a room, but must have experience in caring for under 2s. If this sounds like you, please contact us on 01953 453316 or email theappletree@goldenapples.co.uk.

FROGGIE FUN!

The Cornerstone, Martlesham

A few weeks ago, The Cornerstone had some frogspawn delivered. The children have loved watching them grown into tadpoles over the past few weeks and they’ll continue to watch them grow before they turn into frogs. They also created a board to help learn about the life cycle of a frog.
