Nurseries News Round-Up – Summer Fun Week 5

The summer break is here – but that doesn’t mean the Golden Apples Family fun has to end. Stay tuned for news and top tips and summer activities!

FOND FAREWELL!

Bluebell, Eltisley

Now that we’re coming to the end of the nursery year, we’re waving goodbye to our classroom school leavers – ready to begin their new journey.

Some of the children here have been at Bluebell from a very young age, some have only been here for a short while, but the length of time makes no difference to the bond we have with these children and they joy we’ve had watching them develop and grow.

We don’t just teach them, we watch them grow, achieve milestones and challenge boundaries. We are their safety and security, providing them a safe and happy environment where they can feel comfortable to confide in us when they need to.

We are there for them to lean on when they are having an emotionally challenging day – or when they aren’t feeling well.

And we are here to share their happiest moments, showering them with praise. Our jobs may be tiring sometimes, but it’s the most rewarding job, too.

Class of 2022 – we will miss each and every one of you!

Love, Abigail & Sharon

BUSY BEES!

Golden Apples, Haverhill

Here's a sneak peek at what we've been up to at Golden Apples. We've nurtured ladybirds and built them habitats, as well as drawing maps for our pirates to find the treasure through the misty mountains and dead man’s bog.

We fought (pretend!) fires with hoses and water and rescued everything in sight, learning that we need to call 999 for real firefighters, and brought out our inner Picassos by painting still life pictures of sunflowers. What a week!

HIP TO BE SQUARE!

The Appletree, Attleborough

A fun matching game in Bramley Room led to some awesome artwork. The kids took game pieces and carefully drew around them. Once they had their squares on the page, they discussed what to do next.

Who knew there was a ‘square-a-saurus’ dinosaur? We affectionally named him Squarebob! The children had great fun drawing their own creations and it really helped develop their creativity!

10 Things To Try This Summer!
